It is the start of a new school year, and with the influx of warm bodies moving in to the area, Bed Bug sightings are on the rise. The scenario is all to common, and one I see every day. A student moves into a new apartment, or house, and with in days they start experiencing bites, and seeing little red bugs. The problems start when the previous tenant moves out leaving behind their bed bug friends. Since bed bugs can go many many months without a meal, they are eager to greet their new roommates.
Here is a list of the common signs of a bed bug infestation.
- Bite Marks on the neck, arms, shoulders, chest
- Blood spots on bedding or pillows
- Black spots (ink marks) on bedding, pillows, mattresses, couches
- Shed Skins
- Live Bugs
- Dead Bugs
